The lucky number seventh season of “Married at First Sight” heads to Texas where six Dallas area singles yearning for a life-long partnership agree to a provocative proposal: getting legally married to a stranger the moment they first meet, at the altar. A panel of experts – psychologist Dr. Jessica Griffin, sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz and marriage counselor, Pastor Calvin Roberson, create what they believe are three compatible couples based on scientific matchmaking and continue to counsel and mentor the couples throughout the season. The series captures each couple’s journey as they go from wedding to honeymoon, to early nesting, to the daily struggles of working on their marriage. After several weeks together, each couple must make a decision: do they remain together or decide to divorce?

Mia Bally Mia is a 29-year-old airline recruiter living in Dallas, TX. He is a former collegiate and semi-pro basketball player who recently opened up a tutoring center that helps students prepare for college. Although his parents are divorced, Tristan looks up to his grandparents’ sixty-five-year loving relationship as something to strive for in his future. Loyalty, communication and a great sense of humor are the most important qualities he is looking for in a woman. He was raised a strict Baptist and continues to pray and meditate on a daily basis, so he would like for his future wife to share the same religious beliefs. A deal breaker for Tristan is someone who lacks respect for themselves or others. Since his last relationship, Tristan has grown tremendously by learning to accept his imperfections and implementing positive changes in his life. He is confident he will be a great husband and trusts the experts to find him the right woman who he can make a lifelong commitment to.

She refuses to be with someone who is arrogant and judgmental. A positive attitude is vital to the success of any relationship and her partner must possess this quality. She is tired of dating liars and cheats and feels as if she has exhausted all options in Dallas. She is convinced the experts have what it takes to find her the most compatible match, who she can build an amazing future with.
Dave Flaherty Dave is a 37-year-old senior portfolio manager, living in Dallas, TX. He grew up and attended college in California and now has a great career in finance, where he is a partner in his firm. Dave is looking for someone who is kind, strong-minded, independent, intelligent and loyal. He wants a woman who is outgoing but does not mind staying in some nights cuddling up on the couch and watching a movie.
